Q and A time.
Q. I'm allergic to nickel, does your jewellery contain nickel? A. No. At Chewed By Tuesday we only use precious metal. That’s 925 sterling silver and 18 carat Italian gold. Because we believe jewellery should always be high quality.
Q. When will my jewellery arrive? A. Each piece is handmade in Melbourne, and does take time. It’s best to allow 7-10 days for your piece to arrive which gives the designer enough time for casting, finishing, polishing, packing and posting. But it often arrives a lot sooner. International postage usually takes an extra week, depending on where you live.
Q. What if I can't wait, and want it really, really soon. How quickly can I get it? A. It all depends on the current demand. If you need it super urgently, for a gift for example, we might just be able to expedite the process, or even arrange local pick up in Melbourne. Please contact us, and we’ll see what kind of magic we can cast. orders@chewedbytuesday.com.
Q. How much does postage and handling cost? A. It’s $9 registered mail Australia wide and $25 for registered international mail anywhere in the world, including Chad. Registered mail is the safest way to send jewellery. If you have any questions about shipping please contact us, orders@chewedbytuesday.com and we will work with you until you have a necklace in your hot little hand.
Q. What payment methods do you accept? A. Payment is simple and secure through the internationally accepted and trusted PayPal system which includes VISA and Mastercard. If you prefer not to pay online, email us at orders@chewedbytuesday.com, and we will be happy to organise an alternative method such as cheque, money order or direct deposit.
A. If you're using Internet Explorer, there's your problem. Try Safari or Firefox and you'll be checking out in no time.
Q. Is the necklace one of those cheap ones that kinks? A. No way. At Chewed by Tuesday we're about good quality. All of our chains are made from 925 sterling silver, because we want them to last.
Q. Why don't you have a catchy jingle like other jewellery stores? A. Good question. It’s a tough market out there. There’s certainly a whole bunch of chain stores with infectious musical stings, but we promise no matter how big we get we’ll never have a jingle.
Q. Can I return my Chewed by Tuesday necklace for a refund? A. Yes you can. If for any reason you change your mind, please return it to us within 30 days and we will refund the purchase price. But we're quietly confident you won't be returning anything.
